The death of Emile Landry of Memramcook East occurred suddenly at his home on Tuesday (9 juin) . He was 61.
Born in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Onésime and Généreuse (LeBlanc) Landry. He was a retired CNR carpenter.
He is survived by his wife the former Anna LeBlanc; seven daughters, Mrs. Armand Melanson (Carmelle), Mrs. Alex LeBlanc (Antoinette), Mrs. Hector LeBlanc (Linda), Miss. Hélène Landry, Ginette Landry, Miss Majella Landry and Miss Yolande Landry, all of Memramcook East; two sons, Alcide Landry and Paul Landry, both of Memramcook East; seven sisters, Mrs. Jimmy Dupuis (Yvonne), Mrs. Arthur Saulnier (Florine), Mrs. Lumina LeBlanc, Mrs. Gillie LeBlanc (Violette), Mrs. Claude Bourque (Stella) and Miss Loretta Landry, all of Memramcook East and Mrs. Blair Belliveau (Aurore), College Bridge; two brothers, Onésime and Léo, both of Memramcook East.
The body is resting at Dupuis funeral home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 7:30 p.m. from Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in Memramcook East. Intermcnt will be in the family plot in the parish cemetery.
